Deer Valley is the most expensive area for real estate in Utah but still a much better value than some other high-end ski towns. You’ll notice that the sales process may take a bit longer here and in reality, no one really has to buy and no one really has to sell – but everyone wants to be here!

What may be very important to know, and may not be, is that Bald Eagle was developed and many of the homes were built when a product called Entran II was used for radiant heat.

Why I Love Deer Valley Real Estate

“Derrik, why do you love Deer Valley so much?” was a question that was recently posed to me. At the time, I didn’t have a great answer because I had never really thought about why I love selling real estate in Deer Valley. It was something I had to think so I took a drive up to Empire Pass to think about it.

As we all know, there are some amazing areas and neighborhoods to live in the Park City area but Deer Valley is a personal favorite. After much thought and consideration, my answer is this – I love the peacefulness quiet nature of Deer Valley as well as the long views of Park City and the Unita Mountains from Deer Valley. When you are in Deer Valley there is a peacefulness, a calm that you only get when being in the mountains.

I love being in the forest listening to the birds chirp and the sound of the wind rustling the leaves of the aspen trees and the smell of the giant pines in Upper Deer Valley. I love being in Deer Crest overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir for the forever views. Every year we enjoy taking photos of the leaves changing color in Empire Pass. Lastly, the summer concerts or walks around the small lakes in Lower Deer Valley.

What comes to mind when writing about why I love real estate in the different areas of Deer Valley is a quote by Oscar Wilde that I joke with my wife about … I’m a man of simple tastes. I’m always satisfied with the best.
