No CCRs Horse Zoning There are also 6 areas in Henderson that are not master-planned and are zoned for horses. This means that lots are over 1/2 acre gross and have minimal restrictions. Henderson has Rural Preservation Neighborhoods where the goal is to keep the area urban. There are no sidewalks or streetlights.
If you want a 20 antenna or a non-operational car in the yard, you can have it. The exception in a rural preservation neighborhood is when the original builder put CCRs on the cul-de-sac or small community. We check for you if this is important to you.

Henderson, NV had a magnesium plant that closed in the 1920s, creating a mass exodus of its residents. Seeing all of the available housing and not wanting the town to die, Henderson went on the shortlist to be the home to Hoover Dam.
The problem with the housing in Boulder City was that Boulder City didnt have any schools or medical facilities. It made sense for dam workers with families to live in Henderson, Nevada, which had schools and a hospital.
In 1941 the Basic Magnesium plant was revitalized. They built dorms for housing at Lake Mead and Boulder Highway. They were segregated, but many workers from the south flooded the area. Families of workers were houses in Carver Park now West Las Vegas near Cashman Field.
