    While site preparations are still underway, Anthem United recently completed the construction of new roads connecting Blue Oaks Boulevard, Westpark Drive and Westbrook Boulevard.     Cresthaven Park Changes To Come

    While Im on the subject of parks, I have a sweet update I heard about at this months RCONA meeting Cresthaven Park is getting an updated name. It will become Jack Wallace Park at Cresthaven in honor of Jack Wallace. Jack was a dedicated and hard working Roseville resident, activist, and neighborhood volunteer. I had the privilege of working with him years ago when I was the secretary for RCONA which gave me the opportunity to see his strong love for Roseville and constant hard work towards keeping it a great town to live in. This is a well-deserved honor indeed!

    Everywhere you drive in the Sacramento and Roseville area you see sign twirlers pointing the way to new model homes. I love seeing them after so many years of almost no new homes being built. New construction is clearly back in our market and buyers are responding.

    When looking to buy a home, most home buyers contact a real estate agent to help them find and negotiate the purchase of a house being resold. When it comes to buying a brand new home a vast majority of buyers apparently are hypnotized by the sign twirlers, are drawn in and end up negotiating their own purchase.

    I am not saying working directly with the builders sales team is bad. They are experienced sales people, know their product and are anxious to make you feel at home. But, in my opinion, you will always be better off having your own agent represent and help you. We have been there many times, know the language and can often get a lower price, free upgrades, and lower prices on add-ons just to name a few. We can also advise you on if it is cost beneficial to use the builders preferred lender.

    Last year I represented a buyer of new construction and was able to secure almost $15,000 in increased incentives including amenities and closing costs. This was easy for me because I knew what to ask.

    Fun Roseville Ca Park Photos

    While out and about on these errands, I also enjoyed stopping by a couple more of our awesome 70+ city parks and taking some photos to show them off to you. These two are local family-fun parks that Im quite familiar with and have enjoyed with my grandkids. Theyre not huge, but theyre also often pretty quiet.
